The inspiration for this piece came from Psalm 91. Words/fortress, refuge, precariously balancing, the Hebrew 'metzudah' translation states "a fortress on a cliff', I wanted to accentuate a feeling of being on the edge of a cliff. The marble on top represents the ruins of a fortress
